Hayward Lumber will be hosting a demonstration of its new PurePowerD™ Mobile Solar Power Systems™ at its Santa Barbara Design Center on Friday, February 6th from 10 am to 3 pm.
The demo will show Hayward’s construction industry customers how clean, solar power can be used to power job sites and eliminate the noise, hassles, and toxic emissions of diesel generators.
“This is a breakthrough technology for the construction industry,” says Bill Hayward, President, CEO and Chief Sustainability Officer of the company. “For the first time, builders can choose quiet, clean solar power instead of noisy diesel gen-sets. The potential for workplaces, as well as the environment, is tremendous.”
Also, the PurePowerD solar systems will be offered at price parity with diesel generators.
This is the second demonstration of Mobile Solar Power Systems by Hayward. Building industry customers in the Monterey area were shown the product’s capabilities in January. All were impressed not only by the power capacity, but by its quiet operation.
“One of the chief complaints around construction projects is that you can’t even hear yourself think,” continues Hayward, “This mobile solar unit is absolutely silent, so communications will improve, noise fatigue will be reduced, and the workplace will be more productive.”
