As Congress prepares to vote on the Stimulus package, Americans are speaking out against the plan. Already, tens of thousands of Americans have signed an online petition at http://www.nostimulus.com/ in an effort to get the majority of Americans voice heard by what appears to be a deaf ear of the current President.

A Poll being conducted at http://hubpages.com/hub/greatdepression, continues to grow showing now that over 90% of Americans believe this Stimulus Plan will destroy the American economy.

The President continues to mislead the American public with statements like; "There is no disagreement that we need action by our government, a recovery plan that will help to
jump start the economy." This statement clearly flies in the face of two hundred main stream economists who have responded to the Presidents misinformation by stating; "With all due respect Mr.President, that is not true."

All two hundred economists have signed a document which was presented to Barack Obama, but from the statements of this current President, it would appear that he has either not read the statement, or, he has read it, and simply refuses to divulge the information to his fellow citizens. This document can be read in its' entirety at http://www.cato.org/special/stimulus09/cato_stimulus.pdf
