Hayward, CA – Hylite Records, an independent music recording and production company, has revealed that its premier rap artist Ash is currently working on an underground street album, due out before June. The untitled album will be exclusively produced by labelmate and in-house producer Showtime, and distributed independently.
According to Ash, who recently released an independent mixtape titled “It Don’t Stop”, the intended album will bring an edgier street sound that new hip-hop fans, and loyal Hylite fans haven’t heard before.
“My intention on this project is to live, breathe, and talk the streets, so the people can understand the intensity we face everyday,” said Ash. “The previous albums I’ve worked on I was touching on a lot of topics, but this time I’m painting an unedited, uncut picture of the street life.”
The album is estimated to include twelve newly recorded tracks, featuring confirmed guest appearances by Showtime, B. Montana, and Vernon. For more information, visit http://www.myspace.com/
