CLEARWATER -- Distinguished Toastmaster and champion fiddler Elan Chalford will present “ Money Tunes,” a unique multi-media program combining money topics and fiddle tunes, in a special concert this Friday (Feb. 13) at the Unitarian Universalist Church.
The 7:30 p.m. show features clever and informative insights into money topics taken from titles of fiddle tunes drawn from American and Irish sources, says Chalford: “The topics go back to Ben Franklin, the tunes may be over a hundred years old, but the relevance, in today's economic climate, could not be more timely.”
Among the selections Chalford performs Friday are “Banish Misfortune,”
“The purpose of the program is to harmonize one’s relationship with money through the lighthearted association of money issues with uplifting fiddle tunes,” says Chalford, who promises, “the music will be played in the healing tuning frequency of the Mozart A-432 Hz.
