Flit arm chair with casters
Toronto – Keilhauer’s new stacking/side chair, called, “Flit” is a softer, friendlier, more comfortable approach to stackers, according to Mike Keilhauer, president, Keilhauer.
“Flit’s thin profile is a result of clever design that creates a surprisingly comfortable and generously proportioned chair,” says Mike. “It offers the comfort and style of a fully-upholstered chair, with the functionality of a high-density stacker.”
A knit mesh forms the back, which flexes to the body’s contours and ensures that there is minimal contact with its tubular steel frame. “I selected careful geometry to produce this result,” says Derek McLeod, Flit’s designer. “The upholstered seat wraps a thin line over the frame, rolling down at the front to remove any leg pressure, and curving at the back for maximum comfort and support.”
Flit is a complete line, available in three heights - chair, counter stool, and bar stool - making it suitable for many different contract and residential applications. Offered with and without arms, the chair is also available on glides or casters. The chairs and stools with arms have armcaps that are made of black urethane or elegantly sculpted hardwood maple. The wood armcaps can be stained in any of Keilhauer’s standard wood stains, or custom stained to match other pieces in an installation.
For the knit mesh back, specifiers may choose from four fresh, neutral colors, and the tubular steel frame is available in Keilhauer’s powder coat colors, or chrome.
As with all Keilhauer seating products, Flit has received GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality certification, and is backed by Keilhauer’s standard ten-year warranty.
