Phillip A. Strong joins Wakefield Thermal Solutions

Phillip will be responsible for OEM and distributor sales, as well as the marketing of all thermal and extruded fabricated products in the Western Region of North America.   Those responsibilities will include working closely with our contracted Manufacturer’s Representatives and all franchised distributors within each territory.  Phillip has over 25 years experience in the electro-mechanical industry including raw material fabrication such as precision stamping, extruding, cold working, plating and applications for RFI/EMI shielding applications including thermal management.

   Wakefield Thermal Solutions, headquartered in Pelham, New Hampshire, has been a major provider to the Thermal Solutions market since 1957.  Wakefield’s primary business designs and manufactures standard and customized, fabricated heat sinks, which dissipate heat away from electronic components.  

   Wakefield also extrudes and fabricates customized and standard aluminum products from their New Hampshire, California, Hong Kong locations.  Wakefield extrudes approximately 25 million pounds of aluminum per year.  Wakefield houses over 100 CNC machining centers and numerous other fabricating equipment, which provide Wakefield with a distinct advantage over its competitors.  Wakefield provides finished products to the computer, recreational and distribution industries.
