UIDesign Group, a partner of UXalliance and a Russian leader in user experience field, celebrated its sixth birthday on Friday, January 30, 2009.
UIDG attributes its continued success to the persistence and enthusiasm of the managing partners who started an independent company from scratch when a nascent usability market was just emerging in Russia. The managing partners of UIDesign Group Platon Dneprovsky, Alexey Kopylov and Natalia Kirillova have been investing in education for newcomers with their own resources and have built a strong team of outstanding professionals who each have deep expertise and adhere to the high standards of service at UIDesign Group.

Additionally, UIDesign Group contributes to the education of their clients. Only several years ago clients mainly requested user interface design services. Now interest in user research has piqued and UIDesign Group has successfully met client demands. UIDesign Group has earned its place as one of the most experienced and knowledgeable in the Russian market.
In commemoration of the sixth year of successful operation, UIDesign Group organized an in-house event for close friends in order to thank the partners, customers and staff for the loyalty and cooperation.
The team had a lot of fun and surprises in store for their guests. Gift certificates were handed out to the guests for About Face 3, the eagerly anticipated book in the Russian usability market written by Alan Cooper, Robert Reimann, and David Cronin. Alexey Kopylov, Technical Director, was invited to edit and consult on the translation of the book. UIDG’s guests were honored as the first readers of the forthcoming book.
