Proxicast, manufacturer of the LAN-Cell family of 3G cellular routers, has teamed with TheGreenBow Security Software to develop the Proxicast IPSec VPN Client software for Windows which offers customers a simple to deploy and easy to use VPN solution for remote access over 3G cellular networks.
TheGreenBow, a leading developer of enterprise security software for computer and mobile devices, has provided its OEM VPN technology to Proxicast’s IPSec VPN Client software for Windows to be deployed with Proxicast’s LAN-Cell series of 3G cellular routers.

The LAN-Cell’s built in ICSA-certified VPN software eliminates the need to configure individual devices and extends secure corporate networks to remote devices that cannot run VPN client software. The LAN-Cell 2 supports 5 simultaneous IPSec tunnels, military grade DES, 3DES, AES256 encryption, XAUTH, CMP / SCEP, X.509 / PKCS#12 digital certificates and more.

The Proxicast VPN Client provides full IPSec and IKE support, strong network authentication, strong network encryption through DES, 3DES, AES and RSA, support for multiple connection types like DSL, Cable, cellular and Wi-Fi and multiple simultaneous tunnels. Other VPN Client features such as Dynamic DNS support eliminates need for static IP’s on either end of the VPN tunnel.
The VPN Configuration Wizard in the Proxicast IPSec VPN Client software complements VPN Wizard in LAN Cell 3G router’s firmware. Remote users can setup a VPN connection in under a minute with just a few parameters in each wizard. The Proxicast VPN Client software for Windows is also interoperable with hundreds of other IPSec hardware and software solutions from other leading security vendors.
