Millions of tourists sign-up for Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) adventure tours in leading tourism destinations around the globe including Austrailia’s Sydney Harbor, London’s River Thames, Ireland’s Shannon Estuary and on visits to islands throughout the Caribbean, but until now, tourists visiting US markets could only find these popular adventure tour boats in Hawaii or Alaska.

Miami can now claim to be the first major tourism destination in mainland US to offer Zodiac® RIB (the same boats used by special military forces, DEA and FBI) tours with the January launch of Ocean Force Adventures offering three, two-hour tours per day, seven days a week departing out of Miami Beach Marina, 300 Alton Road, Miami Beach.

Kim Falconer, owner of Ocean Force Adventures, said she believes South Florida visitors will embrace a quality adventure tour on a unique boat that has the speed and agility needed to safely reach numerous legendary and historic sights around Biscayne Bay not currently offered by other tours in the area.

“Miami’s Biscayne Bay boasts some of the most remarkable landmark, natural and historical locations in the world and the speed and agility of the Zodiac RIB enables us to explore the majority of them during our 2-hour tours, said Falconer. This tour is for the visitor who wants to really experience Biscayne Bay and explore unique locations such as Stiltsville while hearing interesting historical facts and “behind the scenes” trivia on Miami’s past and present and adding a good dose of sun, fun and saltwater adventure to their Miami vacation mix”

Each personalized and narrated adventure tour carries only 6 passengers per boat tucked securely into custom jockey seats while exploring over 40 miles of Biscayne Bay and near coastal waters at both a leisurely pace and at speeds reaching 50 mph on the 30’ twin engine customized Zodiac RIB.

Specially trained USCG-licensed captains take guests on a narrated exploration of legendary and historic sights in Biscayne Bay including the intriguing Stiltsville, Biscayne National Park, Celebrity Mansions, Port of Miami, the site of President Nixon’s Winter Whitehouse, Cape Florida Lighthouse and the historic Miami River while encountering a variety of marine life such as dolphin, stingrays, sharks and manatees, all set against the backdrop of Miami’s impressive downtown skyline. Guests receive complimentary snacks and beverages on each tour.

Ocean Force Adventures’ 2-hour tours are $150 per person and can be reserved by booking online at www.oceanforceadventures.com or calling the reservation line between the hours of 9:00 am and 6:00 pm 7 days a week at (305) 372-3388.
