Eagan, MN., —Nabbit announced today the availability of their native iPhone application that allows users to tag, or what we call “Nabb,” anything they hear on the radio. Nabbit for the iPhone is a free download and is available now via the Apple® App Store.
Using the GPS capabilities of the iPhone, Nabbit will sense your current location and load the radio stations available in that market. You can then “tune in” to the station you are listening to by dragging the radio dial. Nabbit will display information about the song or ad that is currently airing. Press a button to Nabb the song or ad. Nabbit saves the information about the song or the ad on your iPhone. Saving the information on the iPhone allows users to download the Nabbed songs or google ads at a time when it is convenient for them.
Nabbit is also working with advertisers to create special offers for Nabbit users. Using the Nabbit Ads platform, advertisers can create interactive campaigns that integrate radio, mobile, online and viral advertising mediums. Nabbit users will be able to Nabb these ads, save them on their iPhone, and act on them at a time that works for them.

Nabbit is a free service that works with any mobile phone. Along with the iPhone version announced today, Nabbit is also available in a browser-based version or as a Java™ application that runs on any Java enabled phone. People who prefer to send text messages can text in the frequency of the station they are tuned to and Nabbit will text them back with information about what is currently playing. Nabbit will automatically register the texting user at Nabbit.com, save their Nabbed content for them online, and text them back with the userid and password required to retrieve and view their Nabbed content.
Nabbit is also integrated into many of today’s popular social media sites. Nabbed songs and ads can be shared via the Nabbit application for Facebook® and through Twitter. A Facebook user who is also using Twitter can Nabb a song that will be posted as a Newsfeed item in Facebook and posted in the “Friends Nabbs” section of Nabbit for Facebook. The song will also be “Tweeted” to all of the followers of that user in Twitter. Nabbit is a great way to share information that is important to the Nabbit user with all of their friends.
