While certainty is valued, it is the unknown that generates creativity and evolution. The workshop will focus on the role of the unknowable in chaos, in the creative process and in life. It promises to be a feast for the mind.
John Briggs, CSU distinguished Professor at Western Connecticut State University, will lead the workshop. He is author of Metaphor: The Logic of Poetry. Fire In the Crucible, The Alchemy of Creative Genius, and, Fractals: The Patterns of Chaos. He also has co-authored two books and is a regular contributor of fiction and poetry to various literary magazines. In addition, he is Senior Editor for the Connecticut Review.
The fee is $35 and includes lunch. Each participant may bring a friend for an extra $6 payable at registration.
