AirPlay Direct Promotes Michael Kreher to Chief Operating Officer

Jan. 31, 2009 - PRLog -- AirPlay Direct, a leading provider of secure digital delivery of music and electronic press kits to music industry professionals around the world, today announced the promotion of Michael Kreher to Chief Operating Officer.  He will be responsible for coordinating the overall operations for AirPlay Direct and will be reporting directly to CEO Robert Weingartz.  Mr. Kreher will also continue his initiatives in developing new markets, assessing new markets, and analyzing business opportunities.

Mr. Kreher began his relationship with AirPlay Direct in 2005 as an artist member.  As the company grew, he expanded the relationship by becoming a sponsor on the “All Things Digital AAA / Alt. Rock” artist contest.  The success of the sponsorship led to Kreher's appointment as Director of Business Development in May of 2008.

Mr. Kreher graduated from Cornell University with a major in Business Management and Marketing.  He also completed 2 years of post-baccalaureate studies in Ethnomusicology at the University of Washington and 2 years of post-baccalaureate studies in Contemporary Writing and Production at the Berklee College of Music.
