Polaris Planning is proud to announce Infinite Bits, South Florida's first major video game convention. It's a first of it's kind for Miami, taking place October 23-25, 2009 at the Doubletree Miami Mart Hotel and Convention Center, with the goal of bringing together gamers of all kinds for a weekend of guests, panels, videos, music, shopping, and events. There will be lots of gaming, representing all eras and genres of video game history, and featuring an interactive video game museum, where you can play home game consoles from the 70s to today, along with themed rooms for fighting games, music games, imports and more. The main exhibit hall will include vendors who specialize in all types of gaming merchandise, companies from within the industry, local gaming clubs and organizations, and gaming websites. Stay for the evening with live music Friday and Saturday nights.
Some of the groups and companies working with Infinite Bits include: Destructoid, a prominent video game journalism blog with over 8 million page views per month, SFX-360.com, running Xbox 360 gaming and tournaments, R3y's Gameday Extravaganza, providing live Internet streaming of the event, and The Workshop, helping us reach a wider audience through local media outlets and sponsorships.
Infinite Bits is just what Miami's gaming scene has been waiting for!
