Tune IT Computer Store and I-Café Espresso 360-698-1963 tuneitcomputers.com
While so many companies big and small are closing one company decided this was the best time to start, And start it did. On January 16th 2009 Tune IT Computer Store and I-café espresso opened its doors. Bringing with it five employment openings and the potential for three more stores by 2011.
Owners of Tune IT say “retail in the computer industry for locally owned shops is not the way to compete against the giants, you will be crushed.” Instead they took another route. There website at tuneitcomputers.com explains how they never charge to find out what problems a computer may have, plus they offer all parts for repairs at cost.
One big difference is the Refurbished Computer Systems from Dell, HP, Toshiba and more. Not refurbished by Tune IT Computer Store but by the manufactures themselves. Giving full warranties all the software that you get with new machines for a great discount.
Tune IT does refurbish older machines too, giving them new parts and warranties. One customer said “I went to B*** B** because my computer was not starting into windows. They told me it would cost me about $200.00 and even then could not guarantee they could fix it, and suggested I just buy a new one. I brought it into Tune IT; they found the problem in what seemed like a few minutes and fixed my computer all for $75.00. That’s great service”. Tune IT prides itself on being service first, sales second never the other way around.
Tune IT Computer Store hears these problems all the time; they are here to help and stop the exploit of the less computer savvy.
The next step in the process is to open the Espresso portion of the business in February 2009. Incredibly they already have regulars that stop by to use the I-café with free WI-FI Hotspot and computer rentals.
At first glance the company’s location is an interesting choice. Located in the Autoplex on Silverdale Way. When asked why there response was traffic, both Midas and Goodyear assist hundreds of customers a week, sure they are there for car repair but it gets us seen and plenty of walk in traffic who relax while watching TV, browsing the internet or listening to music.
The computer repair and I café seem to work seamlessly together in this old subway location.
