The group´s three largest business divisions – national and international biogas markets as well as products – became three separate companies. The main corporate tasks, such as finances, will stay within UTS Biogastechnik GmbH.
UTS Biogas GmbH – with offices in Saxony and Bavaria takes care of German projects, planning, construction and installation as well as technical and biological services under the leadership of Heinz-Joerg Neubauer. Stefan T. Sziwek is responsible for Sales in Germany and for the development of projects for financing by investors. UTS Biogas GmbH will take care of the construction of excellent farm plants starting from 50 kW to 350 kW, as well as the construction of larger biogas plants from 500 kW to 3 MW. The possibility of biogas plant financing was furthermore added to UTS Biogas GmbH’s services.
UTS International GmbH – Managing Director Ludwig Dinkloh and his team will deal with the international business of UTS. New markets will be developed and already existing subsidiaries, as e.g. Italy and Hungary, are supported by this organization as well as the development of new partnerships and subsidiaries. This company will be located in a new facility near the airport Munich in Hallbergmoos from March onwards.
UTS Products GmbH – located in Lippetal (North-Rhine Westfalia) looks after the product development and production of all UTS technology. A new range of products for separation technology is to be developed and already existing products will be improved. Matthias Rabener is the Managing Director of this important UTS business division.
CEO of the headquarter UTS Biogastechnik GmbH, Dr. Andrew Benedek, says: ”This separation into three companies with a different but clear focus makes good business sense. Many of the European markets are undergoing an upward trend in 2009 thanks to government subsidies that have now been put in place and the lower cost of feed to the biogas plants. Our new structure helps to focus each team on a clear mission and prepares us for growth.”
