Old West Chili, Grub & Brew Roundup
The Chili and Brew Crew announce this unique western-themed event to take place on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 1 Town Square Park in Murrieta. This event features a regional International Chili Society sanctioned chili cook-off, along with old west food competitions, micro-brew and old fashion soda pop competitions and a country & western music competition. Learn to line dance, peruse old west mercantile stores and learn about life in the valley long ago. And the public votes to choose their favorites. The event begins at 11 A.M. with the Thompson Middle School Choir performing and will end at 5 P.M. after the winners are announced.
