DN Media’s NBA FrontPage has been a hit on the internet since its launch in October 2008. NBA FrontPage is a daily and weekly sports update show offered free to its subscribers. The online feature is a fully produced update spot posted to the websites of popular sports radio, magazines and NBA content sites.
NBA FrontPage offers exclusive and unique courtside and locker room interviews in a segment called “Dayvee vs. the player,” a feature very popular among fans of the show. The producers coordinate player interviews from the top fan requests on the affiliate websites, and then Dayvee goes out and gets them. She asks the players the questions requested by the fans who love them. "Honestly, it took me a while to get a grip on the tone of doing these interviews. Truthfully I'm still working on it! But I love the opportunity to learn more about the guys with the trivia questions that only their number one fans would know.” Dayvee commented. “It's a blast going in the locker room for once without any other agenda but to get some tongue and cheek bits from the players. No x's and o's for me!" With a playful approach and always a smile on her face, she is hard to resist on the screen. As the show and Dayvee’s popularity grow, she is being dubbed the “voice of the fan, and the friend of the athlete.”
The “Dayvee vs. the player” feature is available to subscribers of NBA FrontPage about once a week. Mitch Wayson web producer of The Half Court Press notes, “When I was introduced to the show, I immediately took to what they [DN Media] were doing. It’s a great concept. But the player interviews have really lit up participation from users on my site. It’s really something to the basketball fan if they can feel that much closer to the players they know and love.” Richard Bryan of BallingOutofControl.com said “The idea that the question [fans have] always wanted to ask their favorite player can be asked on their behalf…it’
