Saar Hartmetall Introduces Gerima MMB Series High Speed Stationary Milling Machine
COVINGTON, KY - Saar-Hartmetall USA introduces to the North American Market the MMB Series High Speed Stationary Milling Machine. This unique and versatile machine utilizes index-able carbide inserts, in various coatings, to mill carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and/or plastic.
The MMB is specially designed to mill straight edges on handheld size plate and plate coupons smoothly and efficiently with no handling or influence from the operator. The operator sets the bevel angle, cut width, and orients the part against the feed wheel.
The MMB offers mechanical adjustable depth control and mechanically adjustable angle control between 30 and 60 degree and is capable of chamfering up to a 15 mm width. The machine features a separate variable-speed feed motor and milling motor for accurate control and optimal operation.
