Jacksonville, Fla.— Today, Pragmatic Works™, provider of business intelligence solutions that complement Microsoft SQL Server announced that Brian Knight, founder of Pragmatic Works, a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) and author of books for SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) users, will be presenting at Microsoft TechReady, an internal Microsoft field readiness event, in Redmond, Wash., February 2-9, 2009.
TechReady is a Microsoft internal event that focuses on training on new technologies and products to consultants and technical sales roles. Microsoft technicians come from all over the world to attend this week-long technology training and briefing seminar.
Knight has been working with Microsoft to offer a fast and easy way to manage DTS to SSIS conversions. He will be demonstrating the DTS xChange solution as it relates to upgrades from either Microsoft SQL Server 2005 to Microsoft SQL Server 2008 as he trains technical personnel.

In his session “Upgrading DTS packages to SSIS,” Knight will be presenting a breakout session covering a structured upgrade framework that was developed for Microsoft’s partner community. Additionally, he will be participating in “Ask the Experts” sessions relating to Microsoft SQL Server.
