Despite the current economic downturn, CyberTech International, a leading global provider of advanced voice and data recording technologies, has announced significant revenue growth for 2008. Buoyant customer demand and new business opportunities have resulted in a 30% increase in revenues over the past 12 months, a figure unsurpassed in the company's 25-year history. In the same period, CyberTech has also opened new offices in Asia, the Americas, the Middle East and Europe.
Contributing to this strong performance was the winning of a number of large new customers in the financial services sector despite severe economic pressures in the industry. These new customers represent some of the best known brands worldwide in financial services and are now using CyberTech recording solutions at multiple locations around the world.
CyberTech also continued to expand its portfolio with two new product releases and extensive feature additions, many of which are industry firsts. The company is continuing to make significant investments in product development and will be unveiling a healthy pipeline of new strategic solutions that will make enterprises in the financial services, contact centre and public safety sectors more profitable, compliant, productive and secure in 2009 and beyond. In fact, many of the new, value-added features, such as that for call statistics, are free of charge to customers.
During the year, CyberTech has been able to maintain its ongoing business model which is characterised by minimal debt levels and low costs of doing business. The company has also seen a 50% increase in employee headcount and now has more than 120 staff around the world. This is enabling the delivery of increased levels of customer and partner service, which now includes remote installation and maintenance as well as round-the-clock support across the globe. Cybertech also opened new offices in New York, Frankfurt, Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong to complement existing office locations in the UK and The Netherlands, home to the company’s corporate headquarters.
"Our performance in this notable 12-month period is a source of pride and clear validation of our strategy of offering solutions with superior performance and minimal complexity for our customers," said Eduard Baijs, managing director. "Enterprises in the market for recording solutions, whether they are upgrading obsolete networks or deploying new installations, immediately see the value of our open recording platform and rapidly growing portfolio of products, all of which are developed and manufactured in house."
