TV's Inside Edition Presents Suzan Lewis, Disabled Daughter of Jerry Lewis

The biological daughter of entertainer Jerry Lewis makes her first national television appearance on the popular news program, Inside Edition. The segment will be aired on either January 28, 2009 or January 29, 2009 depending on the local station.

Jan. 28, 2009 - PRLog -- Fifty-six year old Suzan Lewis will tell a national TV audience that her ultimate goal is to raise awareness about the plight of homeless and disabled in the USA. Ms. Lewis, a former New York debutante whose family owned some of the most prominent hotels, restaurants, and night clubs in the world, learned in 1976 that she was born out of wedlock, and her biological father is entertainer, Jerry Lewis. Since that time, Suzan Lewis fell on hard times, mostly as a result of a nearly fatal automobile accident. She is physically disabled, and over the last decade, has been homeless and forced to live in her car.

The Inside Edition interview will examine Suzan Lewis' road back to being a self reliant, and productive citizen, without the help of her famous father. She will discuss her desire to entertain in the grand style of the classic comedians and at the same time, remind her audience that there are homeless and disabled people who, like her, need caring and understanding. Her new book, Jerry's Kid: The Suzan Lewis Story, will be released in early 2009.
