Follow on Google News | How Do You Get Boys Interested In Reading?Give boys An interactive book they will enjoy. Dean’s Diggers is a visual, interactive book with lift the flaps, look and find, bright, realistic images and a magnetic puzzle.
By: Design Revolutions Media,LLC Boys will be boys - Dean's DIggers was inspired by the authors’ two year old boy and his love for diggers. It's a true love affair between child and machine, and Eddie and Karla highlight the love a child has for diggers. Fun and interactive - Boys are visual and busy. Dean’s Diggers is a very visual, interactive book with lift the flaps, look and find, bright, realistic images and, last but not least, a magnetic puzzle. Get your child excited about books - This is the first of many books that will feature the main character, Dean. Dean's Diggers was written and illustrated out of a desire to get children excited about reading and interested in books. See, read and find - big construction machines, snakes or spiders. On the excavator page you will have to find one nail gun, two tape measures, three pairs of gloves, four squirrels, five rolls of caution tape, six spiders, seven geese and two blue screwdrivers. That makes me tired just saying that. Fun whimsical rhymes - Under the flaps you can read about a screwdriver, “Righty tighty, lefty loosey, turn it tight, not loosey goosey”, a flag, “Flappety flap, roll and wave, red, white and blue, home of the brave”, or a hammer, “Pound it, hit it, Nail it down, Whack it, smack it, Don’t mess around”. Child like excitement for the big machines that build our roads and construct our buildings. It’s fun to see the big realistic images. On one page you can see huge excavators tearing down a building and on another page huge bulldozers are pushing dirt. Your children will learn about excavators, graders, wheel loaders, and bulldozers, and have a smashing good time doing it! It will be hard to put the book down until you have found all the hidden items. Some are pretty easy and some are really hard - can you find the five mice or the seven construction barrels? A,B,C,D... At the end of the book, an alphabet page matches up with tools and everyday items: A - anvil, S - shovel, and X - x-ray (you might have to get one if you get hurt on the job!) A puzzle that stays in place - The final page is a magnetic puzzle with Dean and his excavator buddy, Dusty. This puzzle will not fall out, the pieces will stay in place, and it can even be put together on your refrigerator! One cute narrator - The book includes a narrative by Dean on each page, “Today I am driving a wheel loader. A wheel loader is a very useful machine for moving large piles of dirt and rubble. It is very fun scooping and dumping dirt. Here we go! Let’s go get another load! Vrmmm....vrmmm!” A collection for your child’s library - You see them. You admire them. You want to drive one of them. With this book, you get to live the fun through your child’s eyes. Charity - DRM is also proud to say that 15% of all web sales (deansdiggers.com) # # # Design Revolutions Media, LLC (DRM) is a Montana publishing and design company.
