At New Season Church, believers are baptized by immersion – meaning fully submersed in water – just as Jesus himself was when he was baptized by John the Baptist. Baptism in this way is what Christ asks us to do and demonstrated himself. We are baptized after we personally receive Christ as our Savior, so we understand what we are doing, we fully make the choice, and it is part of our testimony to others. People who are not baptized in this way miss this important opportunity. Many people who were 'baptized as infants' before they were old enough to make the decision themselves, are often re-baptized in this biblical way when they understand the significance of what they are doing.
