She is a veteran of the chocolate industry having worked for nearly 10 years at Ambrosia Chocolate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While at Ambrosia (owned by W.R. Grace and then ADM) Bryn worked in research and development producing new chocolate formulas. She was also trained to run the chocolate taste test panel for the new products they developed.
