The business world is full of self-made prophecies like 'Don't work with your partner' and 'Be wary of mixing business with pleasure'. Midlands couple Helen Parker and Chris Butler are guilty on both counts and happen to be proving this prophecy to be just a myth.
Helen and Chris wanted Me, Myself & I to be an innovative online boutique where you could find exclusive products and receive personalised style advice in order to enhance the average shopping experience. To make Me, Myself & I a reality they put their social lives on hold for working around the clock whilst advancing their personal careers at the same time. They have now established a successful business, which has enabled them to concentrate on their business full time.
Helen has always had a natural flair for fashion and style and her career has taken her around the world, which in turn allowed her to experience different ethical ways of working, inspiring Helen to design and make her own line of collections.
With a successful diverse career in sales and marketing, graphic design and IT under his belt, Chris soon realised that together they could harmonise their skills and in turn offer an inspirational online shopping experience.
With Chris managing the business and Helen at the face of Me, Myself & I they have together laid the foundations for a flourishing fashion business.
