After a "soft launch" at the collector car auctions in Scottsdale, Arizona earlier this month, the Touchless Car Cover is now available for purchase. This revolutionary car cover has had several years of development including a major revision after a demonstration at Jay Leno's garage in Burbank, California. The Touchless Car Cover has been developed by "car guys" who became frustrated with the shortcomings of the traditional car cover.
The Touchless Car Cover will work for either indoor or outdoor use. A special UV coating has been applied to the nylon fabric which gives the cover a UV rating of 50+. Additionally, the fabric has a water resistant coating which has performed beyond expectations during prototype testing. One test showed no leakage when a quart of water was allowed to "pool" on the cover for a week.
Recently, the Touchless Car Cover was awarded new car accessory Product of the Year by Bench Racing for 2008. It is anticipated that this will be the first of many accolades that Touchless Concepts will garner during 2009.
Flexibility and ease of use are a major benefit of the Touchless Car Cover. Currently, the Touchless Car Cover fits automobiles up to 196" in length. The flexibility of this cover will allow automobile owners to use this cover on more than one car. In addition, there is not a front of rear to the cover. Furthermore, the sides feature a zipper access door so that the vehicle can be accessed without having to remove the cover.
During it's prototype testing, the Touchless Car Cover was installed on BMW's, Porsches, Merecedes. Mini Coopers, Aston Martins and some classic collector cars. It is remarkable how the fit of the revolutionary car cover adapts to the various sizes of different vehicles.
