Global Lingo is happy to report another year of successful expansion. 2008 was capped with the recruitment of a new sales director, and a move into larger offices to accommodate the expanded translation team.
Timi Aladewolu, Global Lingo’s new sales director, joined the team in December. He brings to Global Lingo six years’ experience of the translation market, having worked with a portfolio of clients across all industry sectors. He commented, ‘I’m looking forward to the opportunities Global Lingo offers. It’s a dynamic and robust company that will help me work much more closely with my clients to meet their needs. The value-added services Global Lingo provides – like interpreting, transcription and professional minute taking – are also an exciting prospect.’
From January 2009, Timi will be assisted by a new translation project manager. A fluent Spanish speaker herself with many years’ experience of the market and a degree in translation, she will work with clients and translators on a variety of projects as Global Lingo continues to grow.
