The company reported 20,000 organizations now using Likewise software and revenue increasing by 500 percent year-over-year. In addition, the open source company received four industry awards and announced agreements with HP, IBM, Oracle and Sun -- adding to existing relationships with Apple, Microsoft, Novell, Red Hat, and Ubuntu.
"Likewise had a banner year on all fronts outpacing our industry and competitors in revenue and customer growth, strategic partnerships, as well as widespread adoption of Likewise Open," said Barry Crist, CEO of Likewise Software. At year-end, the company reported that more than 250 enterprise customers using either Likewise Enterprise or Likewise Open with support contracts.

Likewise software integrates Linux, Unix, and Mac computers with Microsoft Active Directory to provide a single, secure framework for authentication and access control in mixed networks.
