(Cabin John, MD) – Green Earth Travel announces a new travel opportunity will enable animal lovers to both follow their passion taking care of needy animals and sample the beauty, glamour and trendiness of Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and Downtown Los Angeles. The trip to sunny Southern California September 1-6, 2009 blends diverse sightseeing, event-going and dining with two days of enjoyable volunteerism at peaceful Animal Acres Farm Animal Sanctuary.

“This trip is the first of its kind at Animal Acres,” notes Leighann Hessler, Youth Program Coordinator and primary contact for the trip, “thanks to the connection made by our Executive Director Lori Bauston and Green Earth Travel. This unique group of travelers will be helping us pursue our mission by caring for our animals, and will then reap the benefits of their volunteered labor by attending the heartfelt, celebrity-studded Gala.”
Each package includes ground transportation from the airport to Animal Acres, five nights’ accommodation in Valencia, breakfast daily, lunches and dinners on volunteer days, sightseeing and admissions courtesy of California Tour Consultants and a ticket to the Animal Acres Celebrity Gala. Trip fare will feature gourmet vegetarian food.
