Some gamers would point to the obvious fact that there is no fitness games on either the Playstation 3 or the Xbox 360 as an obvious niche that they should be exploiting. But lets face it the main reason we bought a Wii was just for the damn Wii Fit Game.
So, what is the new fitness game that may be about to sweep the smile of the face of the Wii Fit creators. Well its called My Fitness Coach and is released tomorrow exclusively for the Wii. Along with the Wii Fit it too hopes to increases the customers connection between fitness and gaming. The Wii Fit was all bout the Balance Board, My Fitness Coach is all about placing the game in the Wii and instantly being your new workout.
Which one will be better? One reviewer of the game exalted My Fitness ‘as more challenging workout. But also conceded that ‘yoga is better on the Wii Fit’. My Fitness Coach uses a personal instructor to guide you through hundreds of exercises, the game saves your progress so you never lose tract of how much work you have put in to keep fit. My Fitness takes gamers back to the beginning, no real extra’s just real fitness and a lot of hard work.
It will retail around the £17.99 mark and My Fitness Coach should become an instant hot seller. It is the only another competition for the Wii Fit, so as more and more people grow tried of using that balance board on the Wii, many will migrate over to My Fitness. No one is suggesting My Fitness will out sell Wii Fit, but a new game is on the Horizon that could quite a few Wii Fit supporters. No more diet books or signing up for expensive online dies tips such as lose it all in a week. No gimps again just plain hard work .The game will be published by Ubisoft My Fitness Coach alongside my My Health Coach on the Nintendo DS, which is very similar and has a pedometer!.
The Wii fit was is the biggest cash cow right now on the Wii overtaking Mario Kart and Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games during the Christmas period.
Its never too late to shed those extra Christmas pounds which Wii Fit failed to remove but is the New fitness game: My Fitness Coach a challenge for the Wii fitness crown . It remains to be seen whether My fitness will out sell the Wii Fit?
Maybe its just a gimmick that will fade away while the balance board sells on.
