USBookPrint hopes to help ease the pain children's book publishers are experiencing over the upcoming Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act set to take effect February 10, 2009. The Act requires all products for children 12 and under, including books, to be tested for lead by a third party testing lab at the publisher's expense.
"We understand the budget difficulties already facing publishers right now and CPSIA couldn't have come along at a worse time", says Mark McGuffee, President of USBookPrint. "To help offset the costs being incurred by this sector, USBookPrint is offering a 10% discount to children's book publishers on jobs entered before February 15, 2009", McGuffee stated.
