The Obama Inauguration Air keepsake is the first in a planned series of souvenir air containers from sites and events around the Washington, D.C. and San Francisco, CA areas. These containers of air are unique to the marketplace because of the dated, digital pictures as proof of authenticity. Since each container of air is painstakingly captured by Authentic Air staff, there is only a limited quantity of containers for sale and each one is individually serialized to indicate their uniqueness.
Capturing and selling the air of this historic election is a culmination of nearly three years of planning by the founders Amit Nithianandan and Kirk Woellert. A portion of the proceeds will go towards charity reflecting one of the goals of the company from the outset. “We were fortunate that the 2008 election was so historic and that we were able to use this golden opportunity to make a splash on the souvenir scene with our stylish air keepsakes”, says co-founder Amit Nithianandan. The inauguration souvenirs will be up for auction on eBay for a week following the inauguration with plans to continue auctioning more unique air memorabilia on eBay as well.
