Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan Names Edith J. Castillo as Program OfficerCastillo's primary responsibility will be to provide program support for the New Economy Initiative. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan (www.cfsem.org) Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Castillo served as Deputy Director of the Southwest Detroit Business Association. Her previous experience also includes leadership positions in several organizations that promote social and economic development. Castillo received a master’s degree from the University of Southern California-Los Angeles and a bachelor’s degree in human services from California State University at Fullerton. # # # The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan is a permanent community endowment built by gifts from thousands of individuals and organizations committed to the future of southeast Michigan.
