On launch of Talat Aziz’s album Carvan-E-Gazal.

A mesmerizing evening with Talat Aziz and Sonu Nigam

Gazal singer Talat Aziz is very close to the heart of Gazal lovers and we came to see it when Talat aziz launch his new Album “Caravan –e-Gazal” among his listeners we also had some popular masters of  the industry. Sonu Nigam reached before the event started with his father Agam Kumar Nigam.

the latest album launched by  renowned Music company SaReGaMa. He sang 8 gazals fro this and the last gazal “Kurbto mai bhi” was sung together with Sonu Nigam.

Now gazal was over but the audience was at the height of their enjoyment. For this SaReGaMa‘s vice president requested the two legendry to repeat their gazal once again. To this Talat Aziz said, “didn’t we sang well the first time” he was just joking.then Sonu nigam said, “sir you start , I’ll follow you” suddenly some one from the crowd asked to sing “Fir chhidi raat ki baat” from Film Bazaar.

After this it was a memorable moment to watch.Talat ji sang the gazal from Bazaar and to everyone’s surprise Sonu Nigam sang it so well as if he sings it quit ofen.Everyone gave a standing ovation for his performance.

There after was the launch of the Album “Carvan-e-Gazal”. Talat Aziz said , “I did not told Sonu Nigam that he had to launch this album. Now it was turn of Sonu to answer, he said, “I must be in 7th or 8th class, I was doing my homework that time in a vipin handa’s programe I saw an interview of talat Aziz.Then my father told me “if you want to be a big singer was the interview carefully. Today I am being asked to launch the his album, it a great honor to this for Talat ji.  I will respect and obey Talatji’s words but before that I what to do something and request that I am allowed to, thereafter Sonu Nigam took blessings of Talat ji by touching his feet. His action were depiction of his generosity and humbleness. Everyone started appriciationg his act and had tears in their eyes a very touching moment for everyone.and that what Sonu Nigam is all about.

People present there were Shaan, Sanjay Khan, Hariharan , Santoor player Rahul Sharma, Agam Kumar Nigam, Singer Pinaaz Misani, Richa sharma, Suneeta Roa, Shraddha Pandit, Alka Yagnik, Poonam Dhillo, Padmini Kolhapure, Neena Gupta, poonam Sinha, Soni Rajdan, Anuradha Patel, Sheeba, Anju Mahendru, Ranjeeta, Kanwaljeet, Satish Shash, Kiran Kumar, Siddharth Kak, Aakashdeep Sehgal, Jagmohan Mundra, Yogesh Lakhani, and anchor was  known theater artist Salim Arif .

In this mesmerizing evening  Tabla player  Jeetu Shankar son of renowed talba player pandit Bheem shankar , he has also given music of this album.
