Bellevue, Wash. -- Pharmacy OneSource, Inc., software as a service provider to more than 1,300 hospitals in the United States, announced today that Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids has implemented Quantifi to establish benchmarks and trending of clinical and quality pharmacy activities.
"Quantifi has given Mercy Medical Center an accurate and consistent manner in which to report and track pharmacist interventions,"
Quantifi allows Mercy pharmacists to document their clinical interventions, adverse events and adverse drug reactions quickly over the internet or on a handheld computer through a series of menus, drop-lists, and input screens, collecting crucial event data easily. Quantifi users then have the ability to follow-up on their reports or the reports done by their peers. Mercy Medical Center administrators can easily generate executive level reports and detailed managerial reports to support clinical and quality improvement activities.
Pharmacy OneSource currently has 32,314 users documenting interventions, medication errors and ADRs in Quantifi, and they recorded together more than $112 million in cost savings in the fourth quarter of 2008.
