When Jean Pfeiffer retired, she knew that making ends meet on a fixed income would become a challenge as time went on. And that was before the economic firestorm and global recession hit. In the worst and most turbulent financial catastrophe to hit the world’s economy since the Great Depression of the 1930’s, everybody is feeling the pain. But whereas working people can always go find a job if they lose their income, older retired people didn’t have that option—until now.
“The internet changes everything,”
“Many older people, particularly those who have been retired for awhile, are becoming demoralized over their financial problems. That’s so sad,” she said, “because this is the time in someone’s life when they should be happy and fulfilled.” Particularly for people who have struggled with money for their entire lives, Pfeiffer says that living retirement in the shadow of financial disaster is a horrible way to spend the retirement years. “It can cause serious emotional and physical problems, on top of everything else,” she said.
One thing that prevents many people from starting an online internet marketing business is that they know little about computers or even running a business for that matter. The internet fixes that problem as well. “After becoming involved with WMI, I also signed on with CarbonCopyPRO, who provides marketing support for WMI consultants. They handle all of my marketing for me, and spend whatever time I need to come up to speed and learn my new business,” said Pfeiffer.
