Pittsburgh fitness company Global Ride has spent the past 20 months creating a series of interactive “virtual rides,” cycling DVDs designed to immerse cyclists training indoors in an outdoor riding experience with vocal coaching from professional trainers. The first trilogy of DVDs, shot on location in Maui, has been completed and is now available for purchase.
Along with the release of the product, Global Ride has launched www.globalride.net, an all-new website centered on the DVDs with information, videos, testimonials, a blog, and resources to learn and communicate about them. Having used true cycling principles to design the DVDs as a perfect training method for both indoor and outdoor cyclists, Global Ride welcomes and encourages feedback from users that can help make future products even better.

The next DVD project is Italy. Filming has been completed and Global Ride expects to release the series for purchase within the upcoming months. Further releases are planned for Australia and New Zealand.
