Rina di Montella Gown Worn on the Globes Red Carpet

Jan. 19, 2009 - PRLog -- Mary Lee Mapother, mother of Golden Globe Awards presenter and nominee Tom Cruise, wore designer Rina di Montella evening gown style R1817 in bronze on the red carpet at the recent ceremony.  Although numerous celebrities and dignitaries have worn Rina di Montella gowns in the past, this is the first time a public figure has worn one from Rina’s collection for Mon Cheri Bridals LLC.
Since Katie Holmes was giving her final performance in the Arthur Miller play All My Sons, Ms. Mapother was Tom’s date for the 2009 Golden Globe Awards ceremony. Father-in-law Martin Holmes also attended with Tom and Ms. Mapother. The awards were held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, January 11, in Beverly Hills, California. Tom presented the “Best Motion Picture - Drama” award to Slumdog Millionaire.
