Monterey, California based Artist Airplay Advisors (AAA), a radio promotion company specializing in Indie and DIY self-releases, announced successful fourth quarter 2008 results, four new clients, an executive promotion, and expanded marketing.
During the last quarter of 2008, the company ran successful national promotion campaigns for self-released recordings by Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers, and Badlands Trio, resulting in their appearing on radio station Top 20 playlists reported to music industry airplay charts.

Artist Airplay Advisors President David Bean announced the promotion of co-founder and former Director of National Promotion J. P. Mosoff to Vice President. Mosoff began in the music industry as a songwriter and became a concert promoter after a career in the hospitality industry. He started promoting songs to radio in May 2008, directing the successful October through December airplay chart appearances by Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers and Badlands Trio.
Executive officer Bean stated, “J. P. ramped the learning curve like Tony Hawk in a new skate park, and I’m pleased to recognize his earning the promotion to Vice President.”
Newly appointed Vice President Mosoff added, “I only wish I had started in this industry years ago, as we are genuinely having fun being passionate about music and radio.”
Bean also announced that New Zealand singer/songwriter Jackie Bristow and music industry sales veteran Rick Abramson have joined as associates to market the company’s availability for Indie artists. Bristow is covering Austin, Memphis, Nashville and Australia/New Zealand, while Abramson currently represents the company’s business in Los Angeles and New York.
