Zuma’s Rescue Ranch received its federal 501C3!!!! After a 5- month wait, and three years of being self funded, Zuma’s Rescue Ranch can finally accept tax-free donations and sponsorship!

Zuma’s Rescue Ranch had a very busy 2008, along with formally becoming a non-profit charity we have been working with Behavioral Health Institute on getting Medicaid to cover Equine Assisted Psychotherapy for foster children.

Please join the effort of helping children trapped in foster care and horses headed to slaughter. Donate today.

Unique mental health services provided for the welfare of foster children and slaughter bound horses.
We rescue the horses from slaughter lots in the Western part of the U.S., and pair them with children in the foster care system, through Equine Assisted Psychotherapy we heal the broken minds and spirits of both.

We also provide one year certificate job skill training through our partnership with Northwestern Community College.
