Commerce Bank of Arizona Promotes Several Tucson-based Employees

Commerce Bank of Arizona, a Southern Arizona-based community bank, recently promoted Robb Pinegar and Paul Squires to Vice President and J. Elena Rodriguez to Assistant Vice President.
 
Jan. 16, 2009 - PRLog -- Commerce Bank of Arizona, a Southern Arizona-based community bank, recently promoted Robb Pinegar and Paul Squires to Vice President and J. Elena Rodriguez to Assistant Vice President in recognition of their contributions to increasing the Bank’s overall reputation for premium financial strength and stability. All three employees work at the 3805 Broadway Blvd. branch.

“Robb, Paul and Elena are integral parts of our bank’s efficiency, reliability and growth,” said Randy Yenerich, the bank’s president and chief executive officer. “They’ve earned their promotions by their diligent work and their dedication to excellence.”

Pinegar has been a part of Commerce Bank of Arizona’s information technology (IT) department since the Bank’s inception in 2002. As head of IT, he oversees and manages all computer-based information systems for the Bank’s five branches in Tucson, Green Valley and Tubac. Pinegar received his master’s degree in business administration and bachelor’s degrees in political science and German from the University of Arizona, as well as his graduate certification from Southern Methodist University’s Southwestern Graduate School of Banking in Dallas, Texas.

Squires has more than 35 years of experience in the banking field and has been a comptroller for the Bank since 2005. He provides financial reporting and supervises the monitoring of internal controls within Commerce Bank of Arizona. Squires received his master’s degree in banking management from the University of Wisconsin’s Graduate School of Banking in Madison and his associate’s degree in business administration from Ellsworth College in Iowa Falls, Iowa.

Rodriguez’s promotion to Assistant Vice President of loan operations follows 11 years of banking and finance experience in Southern Arizona, six of those spent at Commerce Bank of Arizona. She supervises and directs quality assurance programs pertaining to all loan operations processes. Rodriguez received her bachelor’s degree and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
