In a place tucked deep into the Highlands of the Rocky Mountains where the 100 degree summer sun disappears into bitter cold as winter plummets temperatures to -60 below zero, an organized team of Special Operations veterans have assembled a Research & Development platform in an ideal arena for field phase beta testing of Next Generation and Future Force Warfighter military tactical soldier support systems.
We interviewed RangerMade Associates founders Remington Sterling II, and Barron Worthington (Rangeresqe)
RangerMade Associates is a private company that retail markets military tactical gear to police, SWAT, snipers, private contractors, and US servicemen supporting the war effort overseas. Their sales fund private research on NEXGEN soldier systems and the company is able to provide an excellent environment for new companies seeking field testing product approvals and marketing venue that will expedite the fielding of new equipment.
“You think you want to know what is around the corner for military gear” asks Worthington?
Worthington continues, “DARPA, a think tank for black projects and U.S. funded advanced defense research, is working on all sorts of exciting technologies to aid in the War on Terror. Cognition enhancement, via neuro-brain interfacing systems, are on the table as well as many other ground breaking discoveries that will change the face of modern warfare forever.”
When asked to comment on the implications of these new technologies on freedom and ethical concerns, Worthington replies, “What we are doing is providing a service within a service. We test and field new soldier support systems, but you have to understand this whole industry is driven by the public not the military. All of these new systems coming on line are a result of war driven by fear. Any rationale issues of ethics are overridden by fear at the moment. People want this war to be over and we are providing a service to hasten that end.”
RangerMade Associates stated that they plan to do a full report sometime next month covering 2009 system spinouts for the Military. “We will do an update that will likely post to Rangeresqe’s Tactical Warfighter wing under Project Horizon,” stated Sterling. “The public has played a big part in this and we appreciate all of their help and involvement.”
