Beer drinkers prefer Firefox

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 15, 2009 - An inventory of visitors to the www.idunware.com website during the 4th quarter of 2008 shows that beer drinkers obviously prefer Firefox, the browser used by 54% of site visitors. The market share of Firefox users is only 19%, so these results show almost three times as many users of Firefox as might have been expected.

Firefox is doing really well, whereas the survey shows that Internet Explorer is not. While the market share for Internet Explorer is 76%, only 31% of visitors to the site use it.

The minor browsers include Apple's Safari and Google's Chrome. They were used by performed well with 6% and 4% of visitors, compared to an overall the marked share of 4% and 0.6% of users, respectively.
 
One possible explanation for these results is that this website is visited by beer enthusiasts, who are not only beer-conscious, but also want to choose their own browser.
