The Steamhouse Lounge is proud to present the 26th Annual Steamhouse Lounge Oysterfest 2009 on Saturday, February 21st from 11am-6pm and Sunday, February 22nd from 12pm-5pm. This year, the event will take place in Midtown on 11th Street between West Peachtree and Peachtree Walk by the new Steamhouse Lounge location. In addition to hickory grilled Louisiana Pearl Reef oysters, 100 gallons of the award-winning Steamhouse lobster bisque, there will be plenty of Budweiser and Goombay Smash. Saturday will feature musical performances by The Sundogs, Unzipt, Swami Gone Bananas, State of Man and Justin with Dean Dollar, Magic Hat, The Issue and Ménage à Trois on Sunday.
"We are excited to continue the Oysterfest tradition," said festival founder and Steamhouse Lounge managing partner Sam Weyman. "We are having the same great party, just moving it by our new Midtown location."
One day tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the gate and two day tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the gate. A portion of proceeds will benefit Keep Atlanta Beautiful. This is an all ages event. Musical performances are subject to change without notice.
