As usual, this year’s Golden Globes ceremony aroused the interest of both movie fans and fashion lovers who meticulously examined the appearances of the celebs attending the glamorous event in order to glean current fashion and jewelry trends in Hollywood. Three trends were immediately noticeable: Bold diamond necklaces were balanced by delicate diamond earrings and numerous bracelets.
Strapless dresses have long been a must in every Hollywood starlet’s closet and many of the celebs chose to wear strapless gowns. All they needed to do was find the perfect diamond jewelry to complement the elegant look.
Most of the celebs chose bold and unusual necklaces to complete their ensembles. Eva Mendes, for example, wore a vintage necklace with diamonds and turquoises while singer Beyonce Knowles draped herself in a breathtaking oval diamond necklace by Lorraine Schwartz
Other celebs chose to augment the strapless look with dangling diamond earrings. Amanda Seyfried wore long earrings embedded with diamonds and emeralds weighing 10 carats by H. Stern. Miley Cyrus chose gold earrings that perfectly complemented her white gown.
The strapless look was also accentuated by the use of numerous thick bracelets and bangles which decorated the celebs’ wrists. Demi Moore wore striking diamond and platinum bracelets by Cartier. Debra Messing wore Cartier bracelets embedded with diamonds and gemstones.
Eva Longoria was luscious in diamond earrings and a stunning red gown while Kate Winslet perfectly embellished her elegant black strapless gown with diamond bracelets and earrings.
