Dec 30, 2008- When Bahama Beach Club hosted its 6th Annual New Year’s Eve party this year guests received a little belated holiday present. Hidden among the crowd of 260+ were Martha Stewart and Joe Gibbs. Many know Joe Gibbs as the former Coach for the Washington Red Skins, Mr. Gibbs stayed on the property along with his wife and friends. Martha Stewart was staying on the island with friends and spent her night counting down to 2009 with the guests of Bahama Beach Club.
The party was filled with laughter, dancing and great food. The air was filled with island music provided by a steel drum band along with the Bahamian tradition a Junkanoo band. Among the sea of color full outfits the Junkanoo band wore, guests could be seen dancing and forming Tonga lines. The party continued with the help of a DJ and guests taking to the dance floor. When guests weren’t dancing the night away they were having their pictures taken with the two guests of honor. And to end an already perfect night the Bahama Beach Club put on a display of beautiful fireworks on the beach. This is one New Year’s party that will go down in the Bahama Beach Club history books!
