Championing the skills of Britain’s most talented tradesmen and women, Budget Van Insurance and Checkatrade have joined forces for the ‘Tradesman of the Year 2009’ competition. The contest provides the cream of the UK’s trade workforce with the chance to scoop the coveted ‘Tradesman of the Year 2009’ title and a £2,000 cash prize. The top two runners-up will also win £250 each.
Last year’s winner, Paul O’Connor2, of Ronnoco Building Services, London was thrilled to win the prize, beating hundreds of other entrants to the title. Paul said: “The competition helps to highlight first-class quality amongst small businesses across the UK and also assists customers make wise decisions about the choice of tradesperson they allow into their homes.
