This cake was created by the owners of Cake, Please! to show their talent and skill as well as to honor the incoming President Barack Obama.  The cake is currently on E-bay and the website as a product to purchase for Inauguration Celebrations across the country.  Orders will be accepted until Jan 17th, 2009 to allow time for shipment.  

The cake is a Godiva White Chocolate Cake with a Raspberry Cream filling.  It is covered with vanilla fondant and the photo is placed in the cake in a sugar icing.  The process takes several stages and from start to finish about 7 hours.  Visit the website for more details:  http://theoriginalcakeplease.com

Cake, Please! a new business servicing the Greater Austin area, however, the owners three Le Cordon Bleu Certified Pastry Chefs are not new to the art of creating beautiful cakes.  They are three talented and passionate women taking up their positions in line with many other Women owned businesses.
