Mary Torrance joins EHS as an EHR Consultant

Jan. 13, 2009 - PRLog -- Birmingham, AL  -- David Turner, Vice President of Electronic Healthcare Systems, Inc. (EHS), announced that Mary Torrance has joined the staff as an EHR Consultant. EHS developed CareRevolution®, electronic health record (EHR) software that allows medical practices to run more effectively and profitably with a single, comprehensive "Point-of-Care" system. From its inception, EHS has focused on the more personal aspects of doing business.

Ms. Torrance is a registered nurse specializing in post-surgical pediatric care, and has over 18 years of experience in healthcare-related industries. As an EHR Consultant, Mary provides customers with the essential knowledge to make informed decisions on the purchase and implementation of a practice management and EHR system. Her understanding of CareRevolution® allows her to assist decision makers in visualizing how current clinical processes will work with an EHR.

Prior to joining EHS, Mary served as Vice President of Implementation and Training with MedcomSoft, and was responsible for ensuring client proficiency and success with the MedcomSoft product. Before MedcomSoft, she worked in a variety of healthcare settings including Beverly Health Care in Atlanta, Georgia.  Ms. Torrance has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Georgia State University and a degree in Nursing from Georgia Perimeter College. She resides in Atlanta.
