PRLog (Press Release) - Jan 13, 2009 -
Dog training has been around for decades but the emergence of National Geographic’s ‘The Dog Whisperer’ has made dog trainers more popular than ever.  John Wasilishen, dog training expert and owner of Pro-Dog Canine Academy has seen a spark in business with the popularity of Cesar Milan’s show.

Mr. Wasilishen has been working with dogs as an expert trainer since 1995 when he formed Pro-Dog Canine academy, a premiere, custom, private dog training school serving all of Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex and Mercer counties in New Jersey.  John has rehabilitated and obedience-trained thousands of dogs over the past 14 years. Cases from extreme fear based aggression to basic puppy management.

“The biggest mistake I hear pet owners say is that their dog is too old to be trained,” said Mr. Wasilishen.  “While it’s true that training from a young age has its obvious advantages, the old saying that you can’t teach old dogs new tricks just isn’t true.”

Pro-Dog Academy works with dogs of all ages and of all breeds on behavior modification.  One of the most important aspects of dog training is understanding and respect of communication between human and canine.  Pro-Dog Canine Training’s philosophy is to teach dogs through effective communication, rather than strict forceful methods. John teaches obedience by building upon inherent strengths in the dog’s aptitude.

Pro-Dog Canine Academy has a website with more information online at http://www.nj-dogtraining.com/
